Meeting # 4

May 24th, 2019 – 100 People Who Give a Damn Dawson gave $2,200 to The Root Cellar, a Dawson City based cooperative working towards opening a waste free grocery store in the community. 

Meeting # 3 

December 6th, 2018 – 100 People Who Give a Damn Dawson gave $1,900 to Yukon Girls Rock Camp who are going to use the funds raised to establish  themselves as a non-profit organization with a goal of bringing Girls Rock Camps programming to communities across the North to empower youth. They also aim to become and be a community partner and leader in anti-violence and anti-oppression work.

Meeting # 2 

August 24th, 2018 – 100 People Who Give a Damn Dawson gave $2,800 to the Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program who will use the money for their Healthy Families, Healthy Babies program that supports families with babies up to 2 years of age. CPNP provides supplements, food, workshops, and more, but haven’t received an increase in funding since they started many years ago.

Meeting # 1

April 20th, 2018 – 100 People Who Give a Damn Dawson gave $4,300 to the Humane Society Dawson who will use the money to hire a summer staff position who will be able to care for the animals and keep the shelter open longer hours during the busy summer season.
